How to grow rare plants in your own Grow Room: what to buy, how to plant a bush, harvest it and sell the crop. Upgrades that speed up growth.
The Grow Room is where rare plants are grown. A growing bush is placed on a Grow Table, and once the growth cycle ends, you harvest it. The harvest is sold to the Fence.
What you need
The Grow Room is a separate building at your base, so you need a house of your own first, see Base and Plot. The Grow Room and Grow Tables are researched in Larry’s Tree, in the “Production” branch, and bought on the Trade Laptop. The Grow Table unlocks in the tree after the Grow Room.

Find a bushGrowing Bush. A growing bush is cargo: it is found on locations and carried in your hands like any other cargo.
Put the bush on a Grow TableGrow Table. A clock icon appears above the table: the bush is growing.
Wait for the growth to finish. When the cycle ends, the icon turns into a check mark and the bush becomes mature Mature Bush.
Harvest it. Walk up to the table and harvest, which takes about 5 seconds. You get Harvest Package, and the bush turns back into a growing bush of the same rarity and starts a new cycle. There is no need to plant a new bush.
Sell the harvest. Harvest Packages are sold to the Fence.
Instead of growing them, a growing or mature bush can be handed in to the Smuggler as cargo. As with any cargo: if you draw a weapon, the bush drops out of your hands, and a cop can seize it.
Bushes and harvest
Bushes come in three rarities. The higher the rarity, the more the Harvest Packages are worth. One mature bush gives 2 to 4 packages. Some settlement buildings give a chance of 1–2 extra packages on top.

Table upgrades
Better equipment speeds up growth. A Grow Table takes three upgrades, each in its own place, so all three can be installed together. They are also researched in Larry’s Tree and bought on the Trade Laptop.
