ROB RUN IS OUT NOW ON STEAM!
The wait is over.
ROB RUN has officially launched, and the streets of Looty Bay are waiting for new heroes. Not that anyone stays a hero around here for long.
Get your gang together, pull off brazen heists, build a criminal empire — or gamble your whole cut away in minutes. Around here, even your slickest plan is one bad bounce away from a jail cell.
ROB RUN is live on Steam right now.
Catch you on the wrong side of the law.

ROB RUN: First Changes & Server Schedule
We’ve received a ton of feedback during the playtest. Thanks to everyone who’s shared their thoughts, reported issues, and suggested ideas! You’re helping us make ROB RUN better.
It’ll take some time to go through everything, but we’ve already made a few changes, and we want to see how they play out.
What’s Changed
Cops
- Increased cop respawn time, adding an even longer delay with each consecutive death.
- Cops can now buy police badges. The selection depends on the district they live in. At the same time, we’ve significantly reduced the number of badges earned through looting and cop salaries.
- When a fresh server opens, patrol cops will only have access to pistols. Better gear will unlock as the server gets older.
Economy & Progression
- Tier 1 settlements and land rentals now cost documents instead of cash. This should make early-game progression and resource management easier to figure out.
- Massively increased profits from base businesses, including farms, labs, contraband, and more.
- Increased the amount of cash found in dumpsters.
- Made dismantling and selling shipments much more profitable, but reduced their drop rates and increased the duration of dismantling.
- Increased the unlock and purchase costs of certain items in Tier 2 and Tier 3 settlements.
- Reduced the price of the basic pistol and added more starter weapon spawn points around the city.
We initially considered giving players a pistol after every death, but we feel that working your way up from nothing is an important part of ROB RUN and leads to some great gameplay stories.
Instead, we’ve made weapons easier to find, while limiting cops’ starting gear to give everyone a fairer shot early on.
Items & Other Changes
- The Buletti can no longer transport shipments.
- We’ve reduced the time needed to crack the Fabergé Egg, but increased the number of tablets required to trade for a glass cutter.
- We’ve massively increased the amount of cash the laundering desk can hold.
- We’ve increased the maximum stack size for decoders, gold bars, and several other items.
- We’ve made plenty of other technical and gameplay adjustments.
None of these changes are set in stone. We’ll keep an eye on how they affect gameplay and make further adjustments if needed.
New Server Schedule
ROB RUN currently has two regions: EU and East US. We’ll add more regions when we can.
We plan to open at least one fresh server per day in each region:
- EU — 5 PM UTC
- East US — 8 PM ET
Additional servers will open automatically as needed, including outside these scheduled times. We’ll monitor server load and adjust things if necessary.
Thanks for playing ROB RUN and helping us make it better!

ROB RUN is Out on November 4!
We intend to bring the servers online at 5 PM UTC.
The recent playtest’s given us a ton of valuable feedback. Huge thanks to everyone who joined in! We’re going to keep testing, improving, and building ROB RUN together with you. There’s still a lot of work ahead of us, but we’re excited to see where we can take this game together.
LET’S GO!

Playtest News
Thank you to everyone taking part in the playtest!
On November 2 at 08:00 CET, we’re wrapping up the test and getting to work on fixes so we can launch the game as soon as possible. We’re aiming for Early Access in early November.
This test has been a huge help. We stress-tested the servers, then found and fixed several critical technical issues. We’re reading all your feedback and we feel your pain, so we’ve already started on a number of changes. We’ll roll them out as they’re ready:
• A pistol from the start: you’ll get one when you join a server and every time you respawn, instead of starting empty-handed.
• Player-base businesses (farms, labs, smuggling, cargo cracking and more) will pay out several times more.
• Buying and renting land will be easier to understand.
• Plus plenty of technical and game design tweaks to make the game better overall.
A word on cop balance. In our game, cops are meant to be a serious threat to most criminals. We don’t want the PvE-style power fantasy where one player mows down whole squads of police. The game rewards those who read the situation on the map, plan their routes, use lockpicks and avoid tripping alarms that can bring the whole precinct down on them. That goes double for lone wolves.
We’re also building a progression system for cops, both shared and personal:
• Cops will take longer to respawn after dying, so they can’t just swarm robbers with numbers.
• At server start, cops will only have access to pistols. Better gear will unlock over time.
• Cops will be able to buy badges. Their rarity will depend on the district the player lives in.
See you in the game!

ROB RUN's Power Pyramid: From a Hobo to the Shadow Governor
Today, we’re diving into one of ROB RUN’s unique mechanics — the power pyramid, where owning a plot of land is just the start of your criminal empire.
Each new tier grants not only greater opportunities, but also power over other players, and the higher you rise, the bigger the cut you take from everyone else.
There are five tiers in the pyramid. Here’s how it works.
Hobo
Everyone starts at rock bottom. Fresh out of prison with no cash and nowhere to live, you’ll have to crash at Lenny’s motel for a while.
While others collect taxes, your objective is to scrape together enough cash for your first plot of land or buy out an entire settlement.
Settlement Resident
Renting land grants you your own plot where you can build a base, develop businesses, and unlock new Shipments unavailable to motel dwellers.
On top of that, you will unlock the ability to offload goods at the Sales Center and buy contraband at a discount.
Settlement Owner
Once you stash away enough cash, you can buy not just a single plot, but an entire settlement and rent plots out to other players.
You’ll collect taxes on laundered money and Black Market purchases made by all settlement residents — while enjoying free base placement on your own turf.
Best of all, no one can seize your settlement before the wipe.
While others grind, trade, and launder dirty cash, you simply sit back and take your cut.
District Owner
The next tier is taking control of an entire district — but this time, you’ll need a clan.
The clan controlling a district collects a cut of all taxes paid to settlement owners on its turf and receives a boost to money laundering speed. The higher the district’s level, the bigger the boost.
Settlement owners make bank off the residents, while your clan profits from the settlement owners.
Shadow Governor
At the apex of the pyramid stands the leader of the clan controlling the central Highlands district.
There can only ever be one Shadow Governor in the entire game world.
Their clan secures prime money laundering rates and taxes every other clan on the map. Even the most powerful players have no choice but to kick up a cut of their earnings.
Who Rules the Streets?
In ROB RUN, you set your own limits: run your own business, profit from your tenants, or gather a clan and fight for control of the entire map.
The ultimate question is: who will hold the title of Shadow Governor when the wipe hits?

ROB RUN: Base Management
And now, let’s talk about your base of operations!
This is a place where the player can stay in relative safety and manage their business without any distractions — store money, cargo, and other valuables, as well as organize production. If you die, your base will become an additional respawn point.

A variety of different structures can be built at the base: farms, warehouses, laboratories, etc. Not enough space for another car? Build a garage. Found a helicopter in loot? Build a helipad. And if you don’t feel like visiting a city auto repair shop, you can set up a lift at your base and replace car modules yourself. (Any large boulder at the location could serve as a lift, but that’s another story.)

The main building features a minimal set of features. Inside, there will be a laptop, a first-aid kit, and a few cabinets — the player will have to set up all the other furniture and workbenches on their own. Workbenches can also be upgraded using modules, thereby expanding their functionality.

Building in ROB RUN is fully item-based. Everything from structures like houses, fences, farms, and garages to functional objects like safes, racks, workbenches, vises, garden beds, and cooking pots is deployed directly from your inventory. This means that you can either buy them or find them in loot or someone’s bag.
Cargo found in a location can be set up to open, bushes can be grown at your farm, and chemical reagents can be used in your laboratory. If you can’t find a use for something right now, you can always store your valuables — they might come in handy later.

No base is completely safe, though. This world is packed with people looking to seize someone else’s property.
Defense comes in many forms: fortify with defensive modules, install raid alerts for you and your allies, or blend in to seem like a waste of rare breaching tools. Don’t forget clans, either — allies can hold off raiders better than any defense module.
The criminal contacts available to a player — and by extension, the goods they can buy — depend on the level of their home territory. The higher your territory’s level, the more opportunities you unlock.

No need to rebuild from scratch, though! You can move your entire base and all its contents at any time. Relocate across the map to group up with friends, dodge hostile neighbors, or snag high-value territory.
It’s all up to you!

Choose Your Vehicle
Today, let’s have a look at stunning ROB RUN concept art! Here are some of the cars you can take for a ride in Looty Bay.
Whether you’re a lover of all things retro or a sports car enthusiast — everyone will find a set of wheels to their taste. And not only wheels. Yeah, you’ve got it right — ROB RUN will also feature a HELICOPTER!

Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve noticed lots of questions about ROB RUN popping up on our socials, so we’re breaking down the most frequently asked ones today.
Can I switch clans or factions mid-game? Or do I have to create a new character for that?
You can switch clans during a server wipe cycle. The split between cops and criminals only happens in Looty Bay: every time you enter the city, you can choose one of these two roles or look around and explore before taking your pick.
Why do you need wiping every week?
With every server wipe, a new exciting story is created. In ROB RUN, the thrill comes from going from rags to riches and proving yourself against the competition — something that requires a level playing field for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re a green rookie or a seasoned heister — there are countless strategies to build your empire. It all comes down to your drive and imagination.
With a new server wipe, you will be able to write a fresh story, explore new ideas, and pave your own unique path to success.
Is the weekly wipe schedule final or subject to change?
Right now, each wipe cycle lasts seven days. That said, wipe lengths could adjust down the road.
Will custom community servers be supported?
At launch, only official servers will be available.
What is the game’s core objective? Is it just money grinding?
ROB RUN is a sandbox where players can pursue whatever playstyle they choose. The money you earn drives your in-game progression and unlocks deeper, more varied, and more exciting gameplay. Sure, the more wealth you’ve accrued by the time the wipe hits, the longer your prison sentence will be. But we truly believe the real thrill lies in the journey itself — and in the organic stories born from interacting with other players.
How does the clan system work, and how many players can join a single clan?
Up to 100 people can join a single clan. For now, clans only exist on the player’s chosen server, but this may change in the future.
Clans can control property and territories, but you’ll have to fight competing factions to secure and hold them.
Is it better to play solo or in a party in Looty Bay?
That comes down to your strategy. Solo players will struggle in direct clashes against full parties. However, the combination of mechanics, diverse activities, vehicles, and cops encourages you to find different ways to make money. Additionally, going solo offers unique advantages that party players don’t get.
Is there offline raid protection?
Your primary defense is investing in base fortification.
Equip security modules on your structures to hold off unwanted visitors. The breach decoders required to break into someone else’s base aren’t bought off a shelf — so raiders have to pick their targets wisely.
And even if you take a hit, it’s not game over. ROB RUN makes comebacks easy: laundered cash is safe from thieves, and any surviving structure can be rebuilt. Wiping a base off the map requires an extremely rare, loot-only item. This keeps total base wipes from being spammed or abused.
Are cops weak or strong?
It’s an asymmetrical role. The cops are designed to keep you on your toes and exist to stop crooks from getting too greedy, forcing you to plan every heist and escape route down to the second.
Cops almost always outnumber you and respawn right in Looty Bay, backed by fast rides and solid equipment. Early on, they’re a massive threat. But once criminals earn serious firepower, the tides turn. To balance out cops’ low-risk gameplay, their rewards are noticeably lower.
Can you steal another player’s car?
For now, only if you take their whole house with it. Executing a base raid that totally wipes it — which requires an ultra-rare raid item — lets you seize everything on the property, including furniture, structures, and rides parked inside. That said, any player can lockpick and raid your vehicle’s trunk at any time, anywhere in the city.
Will ROB RUN be P2W?
Currently, only cosmetic items are available for purchase, offering zero gameplay advantages.

ROB RUN: Global Map
The playtest is right around the corner, and we’re ready to share some more secrets about ROB RUN. Today, let’s take a closer look at the global map and its features.
Once you’ve saved up enough cash, it’s time to consider building your own base in the desert. Player bases on the server share a single global map.

The map is split into districts made up of separate settlements. To rent a plot for your base, the settlement must be owned either by you or another player. You can’t claim land in an unowned district.
Settlement owners collect taxes on all financial transactions made by the players living there. But be careful — collecting taxes is one thing; getting out alive with the cash is another.
Districts are split into different levels. A district’s level determines which features are available to players and changes the selection of items you can buy there.
Your choice of place to settle in can also be influenced by special structures that affect surrounding settlements — providing extra defense, business bonuses, discounts, and more. Some settlements can even be located near multiple special structures at once.
Every district features a central hub where residents can sell off their stolen loot. Unlike in Looty Bay, prices here can be significantly higher — though such a popular spot comes with its own dangers…
The desert is a lawless wasteland. No one is safe here, and any player can try to take your life. Even your own base won’t keep you completely secure — neighbors can always attempt to break in. From tax collection to fencing stolen loot, danger is around every corner, so keep your head on a swivel.

Fending off raids alone is tough, so why not form a clan? Clans fight to dominate entire districts and their settlements and tax all local residents. Better yet, the clan that claims the central district collects taxes from every player on the entire map. Now that is a real jackpot.

ROB RUN: Gameplay Overview
We’re back with more details about ROB RUN ahead of the upcoming playtest.
Today, we’re taking a deeper dive into the game to showcase what players can expect. At its core, ROB RUN is an extraction shooter — but your objective goes far beyond simply dropping into a location, scooping up loot, and escaping in one piece.

Looty Bay is the main location for heists and robberies.
The player becomes a Criminal only when they put on a mask. Before that, you can safely explore the city and assess the situation — examine the object that caught your eye, figure out escape routes.
Progression in ROB RUN is structured around money. And while you can find almost anything in loot — gear, vehicle keys, weapon mods, keys to locked rooms, structure blueprints, and even land deeds — your main prize will always be hard cash and valuables to sell.
Your ride isn’t just a way to get from point A to point B — it’s a key to surviving and turning a profit. Vehicles play a critical role when it comes to stealing cargo: some players steal safes to cut them open back at their base, while others sell contraband right in the middle of the city.
You don’t need to be the sharpest of shooters — with clever tactics and solid driving skills, you can easily outsmart cops or rival players even at a disadvantage. You’ll start out with nothing more than a cheap rental car, but over time, you’ll be able to score much sweeter rides.
Looty Bay is packed with places to hit — from small corner stores and jewelry shops to high-value targets like bank vaults and police armories. Depending on your gear, keys, and prep work, the very same location could net you either pocket change or a massive payday.
Some locations can be cleaned out without a hassle: you just need to disable the alarms and intimidate the workers. But even a flawless stealth run doesn’t mean you’re in the clear: rival Criminals might pick that exact moment to hit the same spot, or a patrol car might happen to cruise by out of nowhere.
If the Police catches you, you can always surrender. That way, the cops only confiscate what’s in your bag, leaving your equipped gear intact.
The longer your crime spree goes on in Looty Bay, the higher your Notoriety level rises. Higher Notoriety means better loot and higher payout rates — but the risks scale right up with it.

The cops in ROB RUN are real players. Looty Bay’s staffing shortage got so bad the department started hiring anyone with a pulse, no background checks, no security procedures. The state provides standard-issue gear and a basic vehicle, but cops can trade in Police Badges to unlock top-tier equipment.
Officers earn their living from a cut of confiscated goods, arresting criminals, and — of course — taking bribes to let suspects walk. Unlike the crooks, cops don’t risk their own equipment on shift, but their earning potential is lower. Their paycheck comes directly out of confiscated items.
Looty Bay is always buzzing: one minute ATMs are being restocked with fresh cash, the next an arms stash location leaks. It’s a city packed with opportunities — for anyone brave enough to put it all on the line.

ROB RUN: Your First Look at Looty Bay
Hey everyone! Today, we’re kicking off a series of posts, in which we’ll be familiarizing you with the game and sharing our progress in getting it ready for a playtest, which will, hopefully, take place this fall.
ROB RUN is a co-op game, where you can assemble a party of up to three people. And if you have more friends, we’ve got a clans/guilds system.
LOOTY BAY

There will be several locations in the game.
The city we’ve called Looty Bay is the place you’ll be visiting more often than any other. Dozens of crimes happen here every minute, such as heists, deals, armored raids, and murders.
In Looty Bay, you’ll be dealing with a classic extraction shooter mechanic: you’re driving into the city, looking for loot, and trying to leavPreviewe the city in one piece. But there’s a number of key features:
● All the players are getting around on a vehicle. Initially, everyone gets a rented car, but eventually, you’ll be able to buy and upgrade your own ride. If you wish, you can even save for a helicopter. Or skip the saving and just find it among the loot.
● Cops might get involved in confrontations between robbers, and they are real players, too. Becoming a robber is easy — just put a mask on. But becoming a cop is a different story altogether, which we’ll tell you all about in future posts.
You need a place to store all your loot, and there are a few options for where you can do that.
Bar

Until you acquire your own base, you can store your loot in a neutral hub location, just like in MMO games. We call that location a Bar.
The local shot-caller controls the turf, so you don’t have to worry about taking a bullet in the head here. In the bar, you can meet other players, make deals, build criminal connections, or just take a break from all the action and play roulette. However, you won’t be able to store much loot here. You need your own house to do that.
Settlement

You can set up your own base in one of the purchased (be it by you or other players) settlements on the global map. If you’ve got enough money, you can rent a land plot and build your home.
Here, you can store all your loot, upgrade the base, put up your car collection, launder money, or start your own illegal business. But never forget that it’s wild west out here, so any player or even clan can take note of your achievements and choose to claim it for themselves. In future posts, we’ll tell you all about resisting raids in which all your dishonest day’s take becomes loot.
Welcome to the world of ROB RUN!
